The Berry Banana Crunch

Juice Detox: Day Three (10am and 7pm)


Today’s breakfast and dinner juice was just amazing: some banana, almond yogurt and seeds (three of my favourite foods in one smoothie!) It’s fruity, creamy, crunchy, nutritious and filling! Perfect for day three, and perfect after quite a morning workout and a long day at work. It really felt like a reward for having been through Day 1 and 2 !


Ingredients

  • Golden Delicious Apple, 2

  • Mixed berries, 2 handful (can be frozen)

  • Natural yogurt / plant-based yogurt, 2 tablespoons (yay!)

  • Banana, ½

  • Mixed seeds, 2 tablespoons (sunflower, pumpkin, chia, sesame, lindseed, etc.)

Procedure


Juice the apples.

Pour the juice into the blender, add the berries, ygurt, banana and seeds. Blend until smooth.

 

Benefits of the Berry Banana Crunch


The mixed seeds are a great source of iron, polyunsaturated fats, magnesium, vitamin E, omega 6 and 6 and the list goes on. They are a powerhouse of nutrition, essential for good health.

On top of that, the banana is a fantastic source of potassium (essential mineral for maintaining normal blood pressure and heart function). And finally, the berries, he richest antioxidants fruits ever!
